Benefits of the S.E.R.V.E. Responsible Vendor Program

This is a continual educational program recognized by DBPR (Department of Business and Professional Development), and the DAB&T (Department of Business And Tobacco) to assist owners, managers and staff in the laws and effects of alcohol, drug interaction, and how these laws affect you and your profession. In order to maintain your compliance with the Responsible Vendor Act, all owners and managers must complete the course required within 15 days of hire and employees tested within 30 days of hire.

The Intention of this training is to:

Eliminate the sale and service of alcoholic beverages to underage patrons
Reduce alcohol related injuries & deaths
Encourage prudent serving practices
Promote professionalism and responsibility on the part of your staff

I will make positive identification from any patron who looks to be 30 years of age or under.
I will not serve an obviously intoxicated patron, or a patron who is a known alcoholic.
I will not participate in nor condone the use of illegal or controlled substances on premise.
I will report any of these violations to my manager, supervisor, or owner.
I agree that any violation of these policies will result in disciplinary action and possible termination of employment.
